Version 8.5 / July 5, 2010

    • The concept of manufacturers / brands was introduced, this change also applies to the oscommerce integration plugin.
    • A new tab was added to the dashboard; in this new section the last activity it is showed.
    • In the oscommerce plugin new command line parameters where added:
      • Ft_osc.exe –update –all will upload / update all products
      • Ft_osc.exe –update –new will upload / update the products recently changed only

    • From now it's possible to adjust the stock of a certain product directly from the products screen, this will create and inventory adjustment movement in the product history and the quantities will be adjusted according to the data provided. This option can be blocked from the users screen.

    • From now in the inventory movements screen, at the moment of adding products to a movement of type exit, the available stock will be checked

    • This release is oriented to fix compatibility problems with the service packs 1 and 2 of windows vista.
    • The Postgresql database engine was updated to the las version (8.4) and also the client connection libraries was updated..
    • From now fulltrust is compatible with windows 7.
    • Registered users who wants to upgrade from 7.8 to 7.9 must do the folowing:
      • Make a fulltrust database backup
      • Uninstall fulltrust
      • Restart windows (very, very important)
      • Manually delete the fulltrust installation folder if exists.

      • Restore the database from the backup made in the first step
      • Input the registration information.

    • The products custom fields are now available in the purchase order format.
    • The database backup process was improved.
    • The utility to setup the network connection was improved, now you can browse the local network in order to find the computers / servers available.
    • A new version of the memory manager was embedded into the main module, this is the first step in the way of making fulltrust compatible with Windows 7.
    • The installation process was reviewed and improved.

    • A problem in the sales by week chart was fixed.
    • The appearance of all bar charts was improved.
    • From now all the products affected for any change will be included in the Oscommerce update list, and not only that ones which the stock quantities has changed.
    • A problem related with the calculation of the price without tax from the price with tax was corrected, this problem in some cases was generating cents differences at the moment of making a sale.

    • From now the oscommerce plugin can download the shipping costs from the oscommerce order to the fulltrust preorder.
    • A problem related with taxes was fixed in the oscommerce plugin.
    • From now the oscommerce plugin download the payment way and the number of the oscommerce order.
    • There was an error in the product edit popup in the point of sale screen, the problem was fixed.
    • There is two new columns in the inventory report: the purchase cost of the product and the value of the stock using the purchase cost.
    • Every time you create an inventory movement of the type entrance, the program will give you the possibility of create a purchase invoice using the inventory movement totals.

    • The documentation now contains a complete reference about the available fields that can be used in the documents layouts.
    • The products auditor was improved, so now, the store where the inventory movements was made is shown in the report.
    • In the point of sale terminal now is possible to see in a better way all the tickets in hold, this, in a new window, where the user can see and select the desired ticket.
    • A problem was fixed in the refunds screen, the problem was happening when the user clicks on some column in order to change the data column sort order.

    • A new option was added to the program, this new option allows the user to create shipping companies, each shipping company can have several kinds of shipping services with several rates. The idea is to be able to use this information in the point of sale terminal to specify the cost and type of the products delivery.
    • Two new fields was added to the stock report available in the reports generator.
    • An error in the checkout screen was fixed, this error was generating problems when the sale had more than a payment way.
    • The Z report was impoved by adding two new columns, the total of sales and the total of money received.
    • In the grouped invoicing utility a printing error was fixed.
    • An error in the customer's sales view was fixed, this problem was affecting to the new sales.

    • The products search screen now shows the available stock for each product and diferenciates by color the products with stock under the minimum.
    • The contact person name and position are now available in sales tickets, invoices and delivery orders.
    • In the group invoicing generation now you can select the invoice template that will be printed.
    • In the shipping note the user that create the document is recorded.
    • Now you can define an standard discount at a customer level, in the point of sale terminal when you select a customer the program will ask if you want to apply this standard discount for all the products in the sale.
    • Fulltrust now supports multiple databases, the user can create, delete, activate/deactivate multiple fulltrust databases in order to handle information about different companies using just one fulltrust instance.

    • There is a new utility: "what you should buy", here you will see what you should order to your suppliers based on two different informations: the products listed in customers request with insuficient stock and the products under the minimum stock. Also from here you can generate the purchase orders for the respective suppliers.

    • New set of sales charts: Sales by time, sales by day, sales by week, sales by month, sales by year, sales by document type, sales by salesperson, sales by payment way and net returns chart. The information for each chart can be exported.
    • From now the embedded PostgreSQL database engine runs as a service, with this, fulltrust is faster and more reliable than in previous versions.
    • In the point of sale terminal the global discount comments are now optional.
    • The credit and refund notes can be now directly printed, being the preview mode optional.

    • You will receive a warning if you try to generate a credit note or make a refund for a document that already has a credit note or a refund note.

    • The local postgresql server was deprecated and the new fulltrust installer includes postgresql and perform a formal postgresql installation at the fulltrust setup time.
    • The new fulltrust installer allows two setup types; complete (for standalone installations) and compact (for network installations).
    • All the necessary postgresql security settings are stablised in the setup time, this simplify the fulltrust network installation.
    • From now the FullTrust / Oscommerce plugin can download customers and orders from the Oscommerce store.

    • Important changes in the point of sale terminal. As of now, the discounts can be expressed in values or percentages. In both cases the discount entered cannot be higher to the authorized discount for each product.

    • As of now the system administrator can create marketing promotions that allow the customers to accumulate points with each purchase. The customer can use these points to pay a part or the total amount of their new purchase.
    • The Oscommerce update plug-in now has the ability to process only the last updated products instead of all products, this if the user selects this type of process.
    • There are new fields available in the legal documents. For example, the value and percentage of the applied tax at product level (required in some countries).
