The self service unit of fulltrust is s simple web application intended to be used fro the customers in the intranet store using one or more public computers.

The information shown in the unit is online with the fulltrust information, this means the products it's stock levels and prices, several aspects of the self service unit are controlled from fulltrust, I.e. the language, the price to show, etc.

The self service unit of fulltrust it's ideal for commerces like book stores, music stores, etc.

Installation

1. Get the self service unit from the downloads section of this website
2. Uncompress the contents of the .zip file to the fulltrust installation directory to a folder called "selfservice"
   
3. In the recently created folder "selfservice" locvate the application dsiAppSrv.exe, run it, when the application starts the first thing you must do is to click in the button "Update the configuration", do it just once and wait for the program response.
4. The self service unit have two parts, a group of .php files (the application) and an Apache server compiled with Postgresql support (the fulltrust database), the Apache server must be running in order to use the unit. The application dsiAppSrv.exe allows you to start and stop the apache server, this application must be running to be able to use the unit.
5. All the computers in your local network will be able to access the self service unit at http://server:8090, where "server" is the name or ip address of the computer running the application dsiAppSrv.exe

Setup

Several aspects of the unit can be controlled from fulltrust:

1. The self service unit language.
2. Allows you to "hide" that products with no stock.
3. Which of the tree fulltrust prices will be used in the unit.
4. Page encoding, please use the default one if you want that special characters be shown in the unit.
